Power Outage Update: as of 6pm last night KEC reported that they have restored power to the majority of members in Athol, Hauser and were working on Twin Lakes. They expect to have power restored (to the majority of folks) in the next day or two to those North of I-90. 

Power update.

Power Update: KEC.com reports nearly 10,000 customers out of power. There are broken poles and lines and it could take days to assess. Be prepared for a week or more of power loss. Of course it could be less: but prepare your food and water supply in a Just-In-Case scenario. Dont forget about your freezer food: try to find someone who can store it for you. Stay safe. 

Windy mess

This is a Neighborhood Watch Alert. Multiple trees are down in our neighborhood blocking routes: 

Access to Spirit Bend from Hwy 41: 

-take Peak there is a tree across Spirit Bend. Can not access Moose if you are on Spirit Bend. And parts of Snickers are blocked.

Work day at the water tank

November 7 is a work day at the water tank. Please email if you are able to help. We appreciate all the volunteers so much. It helps keep our neighborhood and water system running well. 

Tests

The water will be on and off today in short bursts at 11:00am as the system is tested for leaks. Thanks for your understanding. 

Water shut off

Saturday Oct. 31st from 10am to 2pm the water will be off for the last of the cross-connection valves that are being installed.

  Hey everybody,

If you are part of the neighborhood watch association hopefully you got a phone call from your section captain recently regarding the close call we had with the fire off Seasons Road and Ramsey Road. If not give your section Captain a call and make sure that they have your updated phone number information if it has changed. Or you can go ahead and email the changes to our neighborhood email address. From there I will make sure it gets to the appropriate team captain. There is talk of planning another neighborhood watch Association annual barbecue. So stay tuned to this blog to find out any information regarding that. Also remember that you can use the neighborhood email address to communicate any concerns or information that you would like passed along to the neighborhood regarding suspicious vehicles or suspicious activities.

I noticed we have rain in our forecast for Friday and Saturday but I've had this up on craigslist since Monday.  If it rains we will postpone until the following weekend.  Anyone in the neighborhood is able to bring their stuff  as long as they stay with it.:).   

Labor Day Weekend Yard Sale - Friday and Saturday (Sept. 4-5) Begins at 8 am

Saturday repair number two

Replacing and repairing is the name of the game today. Bruce in his element. Digging dirt. Thanks to the volunteers today. 

Leak repair

Leak repair went fast and without issue on the corner of Peak and Spotted Horse. 

On to the next repair. 

Mud puddle

Has anybody noticed the mud puddle on the corner of Peak Road and spotted horse? Well in the dead dry summer it sure makes it easy to find a water leak in our underground piping. Because where we see standing muddy water....that leads us right to where the leak is. So if you feel like jumping in the mud....now is your chance. We have been calling around to find volunteers to get that leak fixed. Pending on volunteers the link should be fixed by this weekend. Happy mud playing!

Pump replacement

RC Worst will be here in the neighborhood replacing and upgrading our small pump next Wednesday. We are going from a 5hp to a 7.5hp pump. With our growing community and the demand....this higher horsepower pump will be able to keep up better. They will also be replacing all the wire to the new pump as well. There may be a short water outage with the replacement. But I bet nobody will even notice!

Residents of Spirit Bend are reporting wide spread power and water outage. No power no water. Please call KEC and report at 877.744.1055. Its quick & easy. The more people report it the faster they will come out. 

Our water.

Been wondering? Pondering? Or maybe not.... Like me... Our water isn't as cold! It is in our huge water tank staying warm. But... I bet this winter it will be back to nice and cold! Thankful for that nice big beautiful reserve tank.
